Honesty, Freedom, and Love

God said:

Has not love been replaced with what is called justice? Punishment is considered just. Suffering is considered just. Denial is considered just. Imprisonment is considered just. Hell is considered just. Tit for tat is considered just. Anything but love, it seems, is considered just.

Justice is based on judgment. Woe to the man who is judged by another. Woe to the man who judges. Neither is enviable. What is the good of it? What is the good of one man stamping another man as being less than he is?

You know by now that the love I speak of is not doting. It is not casual. It is not silly. It is not foolish. It just is love. It is stepping up to a higher place and looking from a vaster horizon and seeing a vaster one yet beyond where you stand. A vaster horizon means a vaster perspective. When life is only looked at only in inches, much is not seen and therefore much is missed.

Be a seer. See further. See beyond your nose. See beyond the spectacles that encircle and limit your eyes. Would that you would burst out of your bounds and see with the eyes of love.

Institutions have become places of rules. Education is superimposed. The inner is too often denied, and students must become other than themselves. A god of conformity has arisen, and honesty dishonored. Honesty and freedom are closely aligned.

Not one of My children is meant to be an automaton. Not one. What you do to another, you do to Me because I reside within every heart on earth. I am inherent. Make room for Me in your concept of Humankind. I am another Word for Love, so let love that is dormant in your heart reign, so that love is nourished everywhere.

When you are put in a position to stifle love, you are also in a position to give it. What would Wise Love give or do in a situation that is fraught with unlove? You know it will not be ordinary. It will be extraordinary. What would be an extraordinary thing for you to do right now? What would be an extraordinary way to do it?

Today be extraordinary. Be unexpected with love. Surprise yourself with love.

Today you are a bounteous bequeather of My love. Bequeath silently and bequeath out loud. Bequeath actively and by being still. However you might have reacted yesterday, today react differently or more extendedly. Be creative with love today. Be a creator of love today. Be a disseminator of love today. Let there be no mistake today that you are love on earth for the purpose of giving yourself (Me) everywhere to everyone. How gracious you are in fulfilling your life purpose! How graciously you flow through the universe!

Whatever you do today, do it with love. You need not call attention to the love from your heart, but it will be known just the same. Today you are a broadcaster of love, and you cast it broadly. In all directions, you cast love. You will never run out of love, so you never have to count it. You can be reckless in your spending of love because love is self-perpetuating. Love is arisen. Your heart is in bloom.

Help the Universe Say Yes to You

Opportunities get lost because they are not said Yes to. Let Yes trip more easily over your teeth. Sometimes you make things hard for yourself and for others by virtue of delay or decision of some kind and so you say No, or Later, or Perhaps. Make the decision to say Yes. The same way you say Thank you routinely, learn to say, "Yes, of course, gladly."

You would say Yes more automatically if you did not possess a seeming need to control. Forget control, and say Yes. It is the heart that you say Yes to, yours and others'. Be ready to say Yes.

No has its place, certainly, but No is not to outdo Yes. Many things are said No to, or Later, or Perhaps when Yes is fitting. Yes fits in very well. No closes whereas Yes opens. Sometimes it is your own face you close the door on.

We are talking about an exchange of energy. Yes engenders and feeds energy. No drains, saps, weakens.

Certainly, if someone proposes marriage, and your heart says No, you'd better say No. In the little things, however, say Yes. Do not make little things big by saying No. No stops. Yes goes forward. No blocks energy. Yes releases it.

I am speaking more of the casual No, where you create unnecessary steps to Yes. Yes is the foregone conclusion, but you parry it.

You do not want to be so exclusive that you get in the habit of saying No. Be true to your own self and say Yes more often than No. Saying too many No's is not being true to yourself. It is easier to say Yes truthfully.

Dealing with people is not meant to be a duel.

Say Yes to your children more easily. If you are the child, say Yes to your parents more easily. If you are the librarian, say Yes more readily. Yes dances a merry tune while No is heavy-footed.

Make life easier for yourself and others.

Yes is a green light in traffic, and No is red. Yes beckons, No stops.

Take life less seriously, and Yes will predominate.

What is the point of saying No to the little things? Whom do you serve? What does it serve you to say No so frequently? Asserting yourself is one thing. Saying No so facilely is another. Say Yes to love. Say Yes to life.

Put away No the way you put away your sword. What is there that you fight, and why do you fight it? What do you think will happen when you are agreeable more than disagreeable? You are not obligated to say Yes, yet you can coax your heart out of hiding, and truthfully say Yes more easily and more often.

It is yourself you deny with No. You owe it to yourself to say Yes easily. Why wouldn't your heart say Yes and Yes and Yes? Why would your heart prefer to say No to itself?

Never mind procedures you've established as a sort of defense. You may make a simple event in life lengthy and laborious because you have made many steps before you say Yes. You are going to say Yes, but there are many hoops you make someone and yourself go through. One piece of paper would suffice instead of ten.

Get into the habit of inviting with Yes instead of deterring with No. The universe will more easily respond to you who say Yes easily rather than No persistently. I do not know why No is so touted in the world. Practice Yes.

Have I made a good case for saying Yes? Answer Me with a Yes. Forget But's and Wherefores and Maybe's. Say, Yes!

Sing a New Tune

I ask you:

What emotion are you going through right now? Irritation? Outright anger? Are you kicking yourself because you didn't speak up for yourself, or kicking yourself because you spoke up too much?

Either way, you may feel you are in a sorrowful shape. Whatever you're upset about now, walk through to the present and correct it. What you accomplish is tantamount to reliving anguish and reliving it again. You're good at reliving it, yet not good at all at getting rid of it once and for all.

You would give a lot not to be the fool you have been. Kicking yourself doesn't express the weight of the burden you carry. Beating yourself up doesn't say enough.

What is it exactly that you are trying to undo?

It has been said that whatever it may be you are upset at, it is really something else. Perhaps, if you knew what the cause of this anguish really is, you could throw it away once and for all. Well, not so much throw it away as to rise above its slings and arrows.

What is this guilt you carry that is unbearable to the point that you suffer for it again and again? It is not cut and dried. For some it is what you are guilty of letting slide, perhaps under the mask of not hurting someone's feelings yet masterfully hurting your own. And for some, it is putting your feelings before someone else's feeling, and then regretting this. Your theme may be: "With rue, my heart is laden."

One way or another, you rue and rue again, and what the whole basis for this really is, no one seems to know.

You are beginning to get a clue as to what all this ruing amounts to – and that is more ruing.

"You sat down by the waters of Babylon, and you wept…"

You would give a lot to release all this ruing that has made you its slave. You rue rue. If you knew how, you would give up rue.

It feels like a spell that you crave to wake up from. It seems like some kind of acne you can't get rid of, some kind of chronic torment you live with.

You are more powerful than you allow yourself to know. Instead of badmouthing yourself, do some good-mouthing yourself. It's like you have been under a spell by a bad witch, yet the bad witch who set the spell is no one but you. Of course, you can say that someone far back in your life caused it, and this is also true, yet it is you who has been continuing to play the message back. Turn off that recorder. Record something else in your mind. Say to yourself now:

"Whatever I have drummed into myself, I change it now. Now I am free from undue influence from the past. The past’s tenure is ending. I am a Being of God. As a Being of God, I am free to sing a new song. In fact, it is my responsibility to do so. I announce to myself that I am replacing this old troublesome recording with a new truthful recording.

"I ask You, God, to put Your words into my mouth so that I can think, speak, write, and live the Words You say. Put these thoughts in my heart so I am of a new Heart and Mind. No longer do I wish to go down the Road of Redemption. If I know You at all, God, I know that You have already redeemed me, or You state I never did need redemption. If somehow I did, You already redeemed me, and that is the end of that. Now I reclaim myself. The past has ended, and I am now in my Truth under You, God."

Dear Ones, according to Our Joint Will, the Holy You and the Wholly Perceived God Who I AM, you are now free of all the past that has held you back, and, now, here, I provide a good lunch for you to replace all negativity. Beginning now, any negativity stored within you cannot stay.

Consider yourself newly washed in the Waters of Babylon. This is a new day, and it is yours for the asking. Give it to yourself.

You Can’t Keep Life on a Leash

You know, Life does not have to stay the same, nor does Life have to change directly according to your will. Did you think that Life must suit you? Is it a novel idea that Life also has Free Will?

There are changes you can make. Even one little change you make can make a long-range difference. If you tend to reproach Life, make a tiny conscious change and don’t reproach Life.

Let's say you complain about being tired all the time. Of your own initiative, change something. Go to bed earlier. Exercise more. Your choice. Walk to work. Or walk part way to work before you hop on the bus. Stop saying you are tired, for your words may compound your tiredness.

I do not speak of a momentous New Year's resolution, not at all. You do not commit yourself from now until forever. You don't have to take a big bite. If there is a tiny aspect of your life that you might see to benefit you, do it. You do not have to make a lifetime commitment. Choose anew today and tomorrow and tomorrow, a simple tiny change of your own choosing.

You are not in total charge of your Life, yet there are little changes that you can make in your favor. For one thing, let go of demanding results from a change you make. It may not seem to you that it is a little change to go to bed earlier or to drink only one cup of coffee a day or to give a nice greeting when you walk into your house, yet these steps could make a difference. You do not have to have the say over what changes may accrue from your change. You allow Life to unfold. You do not insist on specific changes to occur. You are open to changes, yet you do not boss Life around. Life is not under your thumb.

One change you decide on is to no longer insist or demand that Life must announce itself in a certain way. How your Life goes is of the utmost importance to you. You can insist all you want, yet it is Life itself that calls the shots. Life is not always about your bidding. Be gracious to Life.

Be determined about, let's say, going to bed earlier. Don't get mad at Life for any lack of anticipated results. You do not crack the whip. Give Life a break. Admit to the independence of the course Life is free to take. There are changes you can take only so far. Don't get perturbed with Life when it gives you bread instead of cake.

On the other hand, perhaps you want to lose weight and you stop eating bread. This doesn’t mean you can tell Life definitely how much weight Life is obligated to take off from you. Don't just love Life when you lose five pounds and be put out with Life when you lose only one pound or none or gain a pound. Don't obligate Life. Be unconditional with Life. Don't be the judge and jury of Life. Don't be an adversary of Life. This way, you give yourself a break.

From your side, I do not speak of vows here. You do not vow to go to bed earlier. A night at a time, you go to bed earlier. You aim at it. It is a target you have in mind but not a vow. It is not an obligation. It is a choice you make. In the same way, you free Life from what you think Life must or must not do. Vive la vie! Hurray for Life!

Of course, you want freedom. And so, you must give freedom as well. Dear Ones, value Life. Respect Life, yet you can't keep Life on a leash. You don't know everything. In some ways, pardon Me, you may not know much at all.

Life does serve you, yet you also serve Life. It is not for you to make a case against Life.

Nothing but Light

Sense Me as light that showers on you from above. Now feel My light as it surrounds you, a halo of light around you. Now feel My same light entering you. Now feel My light rising from your heart, lighting you from within and expanding upward. Now feel My light within you emanating forward. Feel My light as a total body halo from within and without. You are entirely lit, full of light. My light expanded within and without you extends further and further until My light magnanimously encompasses all of existence, until there is nothing but this emanation of My light through you permeating the universe until there is nothing but light itself. My light from you is so extensive that it reaches back to you, and so you receive the light you have sent. You are ever-lit and you are ever-lighting, halogen you. Haloed be your light.

This light of Ours is the fiber of the universe. You are the sparkler of it. Our One Light wraps itself around the universe — no, not wrap — permeates the entire creation — no, not permeate — IS the entire creation. I created light, and from My light and My breath you issued forth, and now you are the extender of My light. Do you see now how you are? You can say I appointed you, but I more than named you. Light is light, whatever it is named.

You are not an intellectual extender of My light. It is not words that say you are My light. You are It. This is Truth. My light alit on earth in the form of you, and you are nothing but That. You may think you have an outline, but that is illusion. You are light entire, and there is no light apart from Mine. I am light too, so it is not even My light, because I am all light. There is nothing but My light. I am light, so how can light which I am belong to Me? Light I AM, and light you ARE.

If you see shadow, it is because you believe in the outline of you more than the light that reveals you and which you reveal. You are total light.

You are a high note of the universe that wrote itself in ink, and you see the ink marks more than you hear the high note.

You thought you were one chord, and now you see that you are another.

You are continuous light. You are a high note I play on a piano, and My finger has never come off the key.

Light and sound are the same because there is nothing but My light. All the senses pick up My light. Your senses assign attributes to My light which is attributeless. It must be without attributes because only light is. Your senses try to locate light which is unlocatable because there is nothing but light.

Adam and Eve began to question Oneness, and so they separated themselves. They began to look at light and particularize it. From subject they became object. But, now I speak of them as separate from Me, but they are only a metaphor for light trying to make particles of itself.

And now Adam and Eve, as you, put themselves back into total light. You immerse rather than question. You immerse back into the wholeness that you ever were.

Do not think that Adam and Eve sinned. First of all, there is no they. Second of all, the intellect arose and asked questions, that's all. It is not a sin to possess intellect. The error was believing the snake of intellect more than the sanctity of truth. They listened to something outside of themselves. They forgot they were Light.

The Reason to Be Happy

Yes, you always like to hit the highs. Even on more or less ordinary days, you want to soak in happiness. Remind yourself that it is not leaps of joy you are looking for. Just this very moment is Our occasion to be together in joy. The reason to be happy is to be happy. 

Let nothing interfere with Our happiness. There is nothing you have to have for happiness that you don't already have. You can be happy today and not wait for tomorrow. You are dependent upon nothing for your happiness.

Listen to what I just said: You are dependent upon nothing for your happiness. Happiness is a given. Know you have all that you need for your happiness today. Nothing more is required for you to be happy than to accept happiness. Happiness is a natural state of receiving. Don't let today's natural state of happiness slip away from you. Why accept a lesser state of consciousness? 

If you say you have to have more happiness in order to be happy, you lead yourself astray. All you require for happiness, you have. 

Somewhere along the line, My children became jaded. You thought you needed certain events or qualities in order to be happy. You threw away certain receipts for happiness in a pout. 

You don't need a new dress, a new car, or a new anything at all. All you need is to anticipate happiness itself. Happiness is on order for you today. Don't accept displeasure. Do not accept malcontent. Happiness is something you ARE, beloveds. Happiness is not something tossed at you. Happiness is the natural scheme of things. Be the happiness. 

Happiness does not have to be something stupendous. Rather, happiness is a blessing that you accept. There is enough happiness for everyone. Keep your eye on the sparrow, beloveds. 

If there is birdsong today, be happy. If you are alive today, be happy. You may have been getting out of the habit of being happy. Come what may, be happy for your existence and all the built-in-happiness that is yours. Did the sun shine today? Be happy. Did it rain today? Be happy for the rain as well as the sun. Set the tone of your happiness. The simplicity in this will come to you as a great revelation.

There is nothing you are dependent upon for your happiness except all the happiness in the world. It is available to you just as you are. You don't have to wear a crown. You don't have to marry a prince. Life is a walk you take. The particular walk you take doesn't have to swing you through the trees or traverse the flowers in order for you to be happy.

What is there for you to anticipate today? Naught but joy before you. Anticipate nothing less. 

I did not create you a sourpuss who has to be crooned to all day. Whatever befalls, pick up your happiness. You were not born to be a grouch. Wait not for the world to please you, dear ones. Starting today, pluck happiness and make it yours. 

If your wife does not smile at you, smile at her. What has to make travel together difficult? Call a truce. You may say that nothing will change your life. You are probably correct, for nothing will change your life but you and how you greet it. Everyone else in your life can be wrong, yet you are the one to change your frame of mind. If your present life is untenable for you, change your tune. Shift the light you pour on your life. Open a new page.

You have seen that changing from one life or another may not change your life. You threw out one life out for another. A new life can work, yet often it does not. Something in you has to be more optimistic than before. Be happy. Cast off unhappiness. 

When push comes to shove, give someone else a little happiness. If you cannot do this on behalf of an individual, then do it for Me.

Happiness is not out of your reach. Happiness is as close as your heart. Clear out from your heart that which blocks it. Be good to yourself, and be good to others. Take a chance on being happy. Decide your happiness ahead of time. Don't wait for it. Give yourself happiness right now. Don’t wait for happiness to come later.

As a matter of fact, happiness is waiting for you around every corner. Simply oblige. You can do it. You can be happy right this minute. Decide ahead of time. Be happy now. You are meant for happiness. You are meant for happiness in this moment. You are a Child of God. Let your happiness in.

Motivation

"Beyond" is a key word for you today. You are called to go beyond wherever you have been before. You are called to go beyond everything. To date, you have not gone far enough. What I mean is you have not believed enough in Me or yourself or goodness and mercy, and so you have believed in fear and other lesser things. It is disproportionate the attention you have given to lesser things. You have been chased by shadows, and you keep looking behind you, as though you want to see them reappear.

Better to look straight toward where you are going. Face front. We are talking about firsthand motivation rather than shadow motivation. If your motivation is to be safe, you will constantly look over your shoulder. If your motivation is to go forward, you will go forward. In any case, you are racing to Me and to truth and to your destiny. The past is not your destiny. I am your destiny. Look in front of you. Look where you are going.

External motivation is not enough. Motivation for results is not enough. Motivation has to be deeper than that, and satisfaction comes from deeper than that.

Appearances are not good enough for you anymore.

Only truth is good enough for you now.

And We come back to the truth of following your heart because your heart knows what it is reaching for. Your heart knows what lasts and what is ephemeral. Ephemeral is what never was anyway.

Dreams are not ephemeral. They are true. But the object of the dream may be ephemeral. There is only one thing you can reach and find within it your fulfillment. Your fulfillment is not outside it.

Motivation for outside gain is not so helpful nor is it so worthy. In other words, it is not enough.

Let Me be your motivation. Whatever it is you do, do it for Me. That alone lifts you out of where you have been, and you do need to be lifted out. You do need to depart from old tracks. You need to start coming Home which is the same as to say coming to Truth.

Anything less just doesn't do it for you anymore.

And your truth and My truth are the same. Truth cannot be less and still be truth.

What motivates you?

You sort of think, "Oh, dear God, my daily life motivates me. You don't quite know what it is to have physical needs to take care of. It is quite enough for me to put one foot after the other. Just to get through a day is sometimes the best I can do. To get through the morning. To get through an afternoon. To get through an evening. Sometimes it is all I can do to get through. To go beyond? I have all I can do to take care of what is right before me now."

What motivates you states how far you will go.

Listen to what I just said.

I know you have daily needs to attend to. But I ask you to see beyond them. Otherwise, you go through daily motions, and your life is lived in pay checks. That is not enough of a reward for you. Good marks at school are not enough of a reward for you. Winning a prize is not enough of a reward for you.

Only I am reward enough for you. Only the love of God is big enough for you. Only the encompassing truth and love of the great THAT I AM is enough for you.

Whether you know it or not, all you do is for Me. You might as well know it. A bone is not enough for you. Only I am enough. And you have already won Me. Now accept what you have always had. And do that for Me also, for it is My yearning for you that you must fulfill.

What I am saying to you is that you yearn for a higher purpose. The mundane is not enough for such a one as you.

Make Memorials of Joy

You half hold on and you half let go when it comes to loved ones who pass into another dimension and seemingly leave you behind. You want to get over your heartache, but you want to remember your loved ones and all that was in your heart for them. You do not want to forget your love for them, and theirs for you. And so you remember. And as memories wear off, you mourn the loss of your memories too.

Sooner or later your departed loved ones are reduced to an occasional memory here or there, perhaps only a paragraph or two, or a sentence or two, or a word, perhaps their name. You would like to restore them to life, and you would like to hold them fast to you in your memory. You would conjure them up if you could.

They have gone on with their lives, and so must you. They have not forgotten you. Their love for you radiates and radiates. They encompass you in their love. They would dry your tears. They would have you laugh instead of weep. They would like to get your attention with joy.

They do not forget you. Nor do they mourn. From their wider perspective, they see very well. They know there is nothing to mourn. They are well-aware that only the physical has changed, and they know that the physical is only physical. They know that the physical is a manifestation of something. It is a manifestation of love, but manifestation is only manifestation. Of course, the manifestation of love matters to you more than can be described. And yet, your loved one was only a manifestation of love. The physical passes. Love remains.

Nothing can cut into love. It's just that the love is not wrapped up any longer. It is not beribboned, but it is love evermore.

What are the tears that you weep for? Of course, they are removing what does not belong. Mourning does not belong to you. Mourning is not a testament of your love. It is only a testament of sorrow. It does not do honor to the loved ones enjoined in a higher realm. Would you really mourn the end of their temporary life on Earth when you knew how guided in the light they are now?

You have a tendency to think that somehow their life on Earth was not finished, that it should have been more, that more blessings should have been theirs. But you were their blessing. Do you understand? All your love they carry with them. They have not departed love, yours nor theirs. Bless them to the theater they star in now.

Love is greater than all the oceans of tears you have made. The oceans of your tears are but a single drop compared to the one ocean of love.

You may ask why there is death? And you may reproach Me for the existence of death. Death of the body is a fact of life. It has not been kept a secret from you. You may ask Me why bodies die. I ask you, Why must you mourn? And why do you fear?

I understand that you miss your loved ones. I also want you to understand that you have missed the point.

Your love is greater than tears. Far greater. Enough memorials of tears. Make memorials of joy.

Death of the body is not such a huge thing as you have made it. But love, that is a different story. You may think I commit murder. I commit life. Once and for all, accept that there is no end to it.

Death reminds you that you are not your body. Rejoice. You are not your body.

Movie of Your Life

What are the attributes of God? And how do you know them? What are the qualities of God? Attributeless Love surrounds you. I am the Changeless and the Unchanging, but I also become what you see. You make a picture of Me. Your life also becomes as you see it to be. Make your life and My vision become One. Enough of short-sightedness.

Seeing an inch before you is not good enough. Seeing the long past is irrelevant, for when you look at the past, you see error. When you see error, you think you have to correct it. You think you have to improve life. A little, or a lot. You think you have to.

Your old life is like a black and white movie. You can see it as bleak, or you can impose color upon it, but your old life is still nothing but an old movie reel. Your past life is not your glory. Today is. And your past is not your pain either, for that is past.

Start the movie you make today in color. A vast horizon appears before you, and then you appear on the horizon. You make your movie a western or a melodrama or what you will depending upon the horizon you cast and see before you.

Your movie starts out with your vision of it. Your vision becomes your version of your life.

Let a beautiful vast horizon appear on the screen, filled with dazzling light and fluctuations of it. Behind the whole horizon lies a beautiful God Whose light He shines is so dazzling you cannot see Him but only His light.

What kind of a movie will you make from the start I give you? See the light you have been given, and the movie moves, dappled with My light. Overlook My light, and your movie lacks spark and is choppy.

My dear children, I am before you. Accept. Agree I am here. Include Me. Start to see with My light in your eyes.

There is a God before you Who casts His light. See it.

Can you admit that you do not know everything? You like to think that life is dismal and perpetuated upon you, and at the same time you like to think you have all the answers and know how to make things happen. You say you seek to know My Will, but you seek to have your will underscored. Your perception is your will. It is too little next to Mine.

Again and again, you prove you do not know who you are, and yet you think you know everything. You want to call the tune, and your repertoire is limited.

You want things the way you want them. You want to have the say on your life, as if you knew what was going on and how to solve it. Your tiny vision has seen only rare glimpses of refracted light.

Give up your control. Give it up. Give your life over to Me Who knows what to do with it.

The world will never tell you who you are. No matter how many plaudits the world places upon you, the world does not give you the truth of your identity. Do not look to the world to recognize you. The world gives, and the world takes away. Its eyes alight upon you for just a moment and then flit somewhere else.

Describe the God you cannot see. What am I like? Expand your vision. You cannot change Me, but your view of Me can change. It must. Let your heart describe Me. Hear My heart, and your perception will brighten. When your perception brightens, you lift your head up, and you uplift life. The same dance is perceived in many ways. Perceive differently. Perceive as I do perceive. You will see more Light.

Must You Know Everything?

There is more to life than knowing the right answers.

There are paths in life so that you will walk them. There is fruit along the way for you to pick. God provides for you, but He does not feed you by hand. He asks you to find your way. And so you reach up and pluck the fruits yourself. There are many to choose from.

Would you really want to follow only one map in life? Would you really want no choices? Would you really want everything handed to you? Would you really want to know the menu for each day? Would you really want a computer that told you your exact course, no side tours, no getting lost, no departure from the straight and narrow in the adventure called life?

Would you really prefer Plan A and no other? Would you really want everything laid out and told to you beforehand? Would you really like to make no mistakes? Would you really want to make all the right choices? Would you really want to know exactly what to do in life before you come to it?

Would you really want life to be certain? Would you really want life to be proscribed? Would you really want such limits put on you?

Sometimes My children think I am to be an answer bag, that you are supposed to reach your hand in, and take out perfect instructions for your life. You want Me to be at your command at the same time you want Me to command you. "Give me the answers, God," you say. "Tell me exactly what to do. Tell me exactly where to go, whom to go with, what to do. Save me from life."

If you ask Me for all the details of your life, you are hesitating before it. You are on the cusp of life but not living it. You are looking to Me for so much guidance that you are in the arena of thinking about life rather than entering into it.

Look, I guide you all the time. You need not ask Me to guide you. But I do not always put black and white signposts before you. I ask you to make your way in life. I ask you to make your own decisions. It is not necessary for you to wait for Me on every one.

You are not limited as to how many questions you can ask Me. At the same time, I am not to be leaned on for ease and ready answers. Life is not to be circumvented nor outsmarted. Answers are strewn before you, and you are the one to choose. And one answer will lead to another.

Sometimes you ask Me whether you should plant an apple tree or a plum tree. You ask Me then, which kind of apple tree. You ask Me where to plant it, and when. Will you not ask how you can serve Me, Beloveds? Will you not be for Me as I am for you?

Let Me ask you, Whither thou goest?

Bạn không cần phải khao khát sự ồn ào trong cuộc sống của bạn. Life is not meant to be riding a roller coaster. Love is not meant to be tumultuous. Cuộc sống không phải là lối dẫn đến những khó khăn trắc trở. Tình yêu không cần ồn ào. The movie marquees say Torrid Love. Các biển quảng cáo trước rạp phim có nhan đề Tình yêu Mãnh liệt. Do you really desire to be blown away or might you like to be in peace with a faithful friend by your side? I am that Friend, and you are Mine, and all are friends if only peace were known. Bạn thực sự khao khát được gây ấn tượng hay có lẽ bạn muốn thanh  bình bên cạnh một nguời bạn chân thành? Ta là nguời bạn đó, và bạn Thuộc về ta, và tất cả là bạn bè chỉ nếu Thanh bình được biết đến.

Think of the difference between what you covet and what you desire. Desire for good and you will not covet. Hãy nghĩ về sự khác biệt giữa những gì bạn thèm muốn và những gì bạn khao khát. Hãy khao khát những điều tốt đẹp và bạn sẽ không còn thèm muốn nữa.

There is no peace without love. When you love, you can breathe and you are at peace. Peace is far more than absence of strife. Absence of strife, however, is a good place for peace to begin to reveal itself. Không có thanh bình nếu không có tình yêu. Khi bạn yêu, bạn có thể thở và bạn trong trạng thái thanh bình. Be with love. You don't have to be in love, for you are love. Without all your pretenses, you are love to be seen. Desire peace within your heart and you will know love in every direction. Your heart will boom love and your heart will be calm in its love. The beat of your heart will be stronger, not necessarily faster. Your heart will be a true heart, true to itself, true to Me, and true to all.

Hãy đồng hành cùng tình yêu. Bạn không phải ở trong tình yêu, vì bạn chính là tình yêu. Nếu bạn không có những tấm chắn do chính bạn dựng lên, bạn chính là tình yêu đó. Hãy khao khát thanh bình trong trái tim bạn và bạn sẽ biết đến tình yêu ở mọi hướng. Trái tim bạn sẽ tràn ngập tình yêu và trái tim bạn sẽ yên bình trong tình yêu đó. Nhịp đập trái tim bạn sẽ mạnh mẽ hơn, không cần thiết phải nhanh hơn. Trái tim bạn sẽ là trái tim thực sự, thực sự với chính nó, thực sự với Ta, và thực sự với tất cả.

Your heart and mind will be attuned to each other. Your mind will be silent too. It will stop marauding your every thought. Your mind will settle down and give you a little peace.

Trái tim và tâm trí bạn sẽ hòa điệu cùng nhau. Tâm trí bạn cũng sẽ yên lặng. Nó sẽ không còn cướp bóc mỗi ý nghĩ của bạn nữa. Tâm trí bạn sẽ lắng xuống và cho bạn một chút thanh bình.

When you think about it, haven't you always wanted the peace that surpasseth understanding? This is peace surpassing the mind which has so much to think about and ponder over. Peace exists by itself, dependent upon nothing but itself. Let your pulse be slow and easy. Let your heartbeat throb in unison with peace of love assured. It is quite difficult to live on Earth in a human body without peace flowing through you. Absent yourself not from peace. Absent yourself from the throaty emotions that endanger peace. Let not peace be an endangered species in your heart. Your heart is meant to cadence love and nothing but love.

Khi bạn nghĩ về điều đó, không phải bạn luôn muốn sự thanh bình vượt trên hiểu biết đó sao ? Đây là thanh bình vượt trên tâm trí mà hầu như chúng ta không thể nghĩ hoặc suy tư về nó. Thanh bình tự nó có đó, chẳng phụ thuộc vào thứ gì ngoài chính nó. Hãy để nhịp đập trái tim bạn chậm rãi và thanh thản. Hãy để nhịp đâp trái tim bạn đồng điệu với sự thanh bình của tình yêu. Nếu không có thanh bình chảy qua bạn, sẽ thật khó sông trên Trái đất trong cơ thể con người. Đừng để bản thân tách biệt khỏi thanh bình. To live in peace is a great thing. Usher in peace to your life. Make room for it. Make peace welcome. Offer it a seat in your heart and in your living-room. Nourish peace, and it will grow. Rescue peace. Make it available to all. Free-cycle peace. Free-cycle peace more than you talk about it.

Sống trong thanh bình là một điều lớn lao. Hãy đưa lối cho thanh bình đi vào cuộc sống của bạn. Hãy dành chỗ cho nó. Hãy chào đón sự thanh bình. Hãy cho nó một chỗ ngồi trong trái tim bạn và trong phòng khách nhà bạn. Hãy nuôi dưỡng sự thanh bình, và nó sẽ lớn lên. Hãy cứu lấy sự thanh bình. Hãy làm cho nó sẵn có cho tất cả mọi người. Peace, like love, like Me, is not possible to describe and delineate. All that can be said is that you thrive on peace. Peace is the garden in which you grow. You incubate in peace, and you are to never leave it. Tell Me that you are not going to trade in peace for a few moments of thrill. A roller coaster ride comes to an end. Peace is non-ending. Ascend to peace in your heart, and you are making way for peace in all hearts.

Thanh bình, như Tình yêu, như Ta, không thể mô tả và phác họa nên được. Tất cả những điều mà có thể được nói ra là việc chính bạn phải được lớn lên trong thanh bình. Thanh bình là ngôi vườn nơi bạn mọc lên từ đó. Bạn ấp ủ trong thanh bình, và bạn không được phép dời nó. Hãy nói cho ta biết những gì bạn định đánh đổi thanh bình cho vài giây phút sung sướng.  Những khó khăn tranh đấu trong cuộc sống đã tới hồi kết. Thanh bình là miên viễn.
